During the last few weeks we did several repairs on some Trane Voyagers. I got a chance to set my camera down and record some brazing skills on the job.

Using my electronic leak detector to find the leak in a Trane Voyager Heat Pump.
With the system flat on charge I raise the pressure by adding dry nitrogen. Once I know the general area using the elctronic leak detector I use bubbles to pin point the leak.
In this case the leak was on the reversing valve tube going into the pilot tube.

Continued form part I, I braze in the new Reversing Valve and Filter Dryer. Pressure test with Dry Nitrogen, Evacuate the system and recharge (as it rained on me!)

A few Goodman Heat Pumps rattling away in back yards of Phoenix, AZ.
These are not even what we call the NOISY GOODMANS! These are your average Goodman Heat Pumps.
The last segment is a Rheem Heat Pump. It is so quiet in compare that you can only hear it run if you stand right over it. :)
